Lynnette's first love is watercolor painting which she was enchanted with at the age of 4 years old. "I painted a lot of horses and cowboys in big hats and cowboy boots when I was little. " I find joy in painting flowers, butterflies, ladybugs, and all types of animals. I have over 900 fabric designs I have drawn in my Spoonflower shop.
In the 1990, Lynnette started training everyday in Shotokan Karate. "I really enjoyed the movements and I found that the punches made my hands stronger. With stronger hands I found my art improved since I could control my hand to make small movements with more precision to details." Lynnette earned her balck belt in 1997 and taught karate to children for many years. "When my 2 daughters were born, I stopped daily karate training. Now that my daughters are grown up and have earned black belts, I am taking time to train daily to regain my karate black belt skills. Join my journey to relearning my karate skills and improving fitness level on my youtube channel as #MrsKarate. "
